Does Judaism have anything to say about my life in the modern world? At JET, we believe the answer is...absolutely yes!!! But don't take our word for it, come join the hundreds of very satisfied students who have gotten deeper insights into life and about themselves through learning with JET. Find one of many programs that will fit your schedule in person, on-line, or even on the phone. The Rabbis, the Rebbetzins, and the madrichot (peer leaders) will make themselves available to meet with students privately as well. ALL JET programs are run in a very supportive and non-judgmental environment that encourages your questions.

This is JET's comprehensive crash-course that covers the basics of Judaism while connecting you to an amazing group of student peers. Weekly sessions address the Jewish view of happiness, friendship, relationships, Jewish history, Israel, G-d, Torah and just about everything else. The real highlights of the Fellowship take place outside the classroom with Shabbat and Jewish Holiday celebrations as well as a tour of the West Rogers Park Jewish community. You will just never be the same after the Kosher Scavenger Hunt in Jewel/Osco! JET's Maimonides is offered in the Fall at UIC and University of Illinois- Urbana/Champaign and in the Spring at DePaul, Loyola, University of Chicago, and University of Illinois- Urbana/Champaign. Students from other campuses, graduate students, and young professionals are also eligible to apply. For exact dates and times, please contact the JET rabbis. Can't make any JET sessions in person? Check out this awesome on-line course in Judaism with great videos and MP3s that you fit into your own schedule. This course requires two live Jewish experiences (learning session &/or Shabbat) that can be arranged with a JET representative. All semester dates, further information, and the application can be found at www.jerusalemonlineuniversity.com. A stipend of up to $100 is awarded upon successful completion of the course.
